Fall Planting Day 2009
The Fall
planting day for 2009 tool place on Saturday, November 7,
2009. 15 Trees were planted throughout the Village of
Red Hook. A tree was planted in memory of friend and
Village Green volunteer, Jan Schiff. We miss you, Jan!

Fall Planting 2007 The
Fall Planting day for 2007 took place on Saturday, November 3,
2007. This planting was a successful collaboration
between the Village and the Town of Red Hook.

Spring Planting 2007 The
Spring Planting day for 2007 took place on Saturday, April 29,
2007. For our Arbor Day celebration, we planted a tree
in Memory of Tim Thayer, long time Village of Red Hook Board
member. We also awarded a "Friends of Village
Green" award to the Barights. Thank

Village Forestry Management Plan - est. 2004
At a special event on April 2, 2004, the Red Hook Village Green Committee announced a new forestry management plan for the village. The plan will ensure the long-term health of the village tree population, guiding Village Green activity for years to come.
